Mr Mark Hanikeri completed medical training at the University of Western Australia (UWA) in 1993 graduating with degrees in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. Mark was admitted to a plastic surgery fellowship training in 1999 and completed 4 years of specialist training at Royal Perth Hospital, Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and Royal Brisbane & Woman’s Hospital. He was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of Surgeons (FRACS) in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2004.

Mark concentrates on his private practice at Assure Cosmetic centre and the Western Australian Plastic Surgery Centre. In 2006, Mark began working at Albany Regional Hospital as a visiting medical officer. Mark and his family have formed a strong bond with Albany which led to them buying a home in Albany in 2009. Mark now consults from the Great Southern Specialist Centre in Mira Mar and has regular monthly surgical lists at Albany Day Hospital. They have now established close and enduring friendships and Albany locals, which draws him and his family to Albany for holidays each year, in addition to the time Mark spends in Albany working.
